Hello and welcome to One Navy’s class blog!
This site will display current information about curriculum, classroom routines and homework. Parents are encouraged to follow their child's learning journey through our class blog and engage with our day-to-day activities. This blog will also serve as a platform to display students' work through photographs, video clips and other digital mediums. Resources that parents and students can access at home to support classroom learning will be available through this site.
Thank you for taking the time to peruse our class blog.
Kind regards,
Naomi Becker

In Term 3, we will continue to explore our 5 school values. We are currently focusing on the value of contemplation. You might like to ask your child what it looks like, sounds like and feels like to show contemplation! In Religion, we are exploring how God is present in our lives and identifying words, actions and symbols used in the Sacraments of Baptism and Eucharist.
In English, using our whole school planning diamond, we will explore adjectives and how they can be used to describe characters. Adjectives help the reader visualise what characters look, feel, sound, smell and even taste like. In HASS, we will be exploring aspects of families and how some of these aspects have changed over time while others have remained the same. In Science, we are going to investigate how materials change through lots of experiments. Thank you for your continued support throughout the year. As always, if you would like to meet with me to discuss your child’s progress, please email so we can arrange a time.
