I have been an Early Years teacher for 13 years but have been working with children for 15 years. I enjoy combining my love of teaching with my love of all things creative. I am passionate about fostering independence and resilience in children, nurturing a positive sense of self and respect for each other, embracing uniqueness and becoming informed citizens. I believe that no matter how small you are that everyone can make a difference.
My classroom experiences have taught me that for children to succeed in learning, they must experience success everyday – at home and at school. I strongly believe that each and every child in my class is entitled to a full years growth of learning, regardless of their developmental level. My goal is to ensure that all learning experiences are meaningful and engaging for each student.
By working in partnership with you and your child, we can create a love of school and a love of learning. I value communication with parents very highly and I encourage all parents to become familiar with the ‘PARENT SURVIVAL GUIDE' and our class blog. This will assist us in maintaining positive and beneficial parent-teacher relationships.

I enjoy growing my own vegetables and herbs, painting, sewing and swimming. I am research obsessed and am constantly seeking out new ideas and new approaches to inform my teaching pedagogy. My most favourite thing to do, is to spend quality time with my family and two gorgeous fur babies, CoCo and Jack.
